Who Is She?

  Who is she?

 In short, that’s Laura. That’s me. But who is that person? Deeply? Today I don’t feel like much of anyone. Just an empty hole or the person I used to be. The person I would like to get back to. The person that I’d like to call to life, to command to live again. So who is she?

  She is fire. Raging wild, uncontrollable, and unpredictable but in a good way. Like a raging fire, she leaves a mark on everything she touches. She ignites love, Grace, and compassion, she Sparks Joy, and hope, and she leaves a trace of empathy, and understanding. She loves so deeply and hurts even deeper. But she loves, and she lives.

  People might say she loves all living creatures but knows that spiders and ants should be crushed. She’s got this way of welcoming everyone and everything giving them a safe place to be who they are. She fights for those she loves. She fights for those she doesn’t. She is a giver. Sometimes she gives too much coma and forgets to give to herself. But she is Unstoppable. She uses her wife and her experiences to fuel her and to keep moving forward she is unworldly.

  So who is she? She is funny, bubbly, outspoken, and Untamed. She is not the girl you put in High Society. She speaks the truth, even when others want to hear lies. She shows no mercy and calls you on your bullshit, but not to hurt you. But to drive you to be the absolute best version of yourself. She is a pusher. Pushing you to  keep going to try again to do better. She stands up for what is right, not what is socially trendy she is a person she would want in her Corner and on her team. She is the type of person who will come over at 3 a.m. to lie in bed with you because you don’t want to be alone. She is the person who will pick  you up off the floor and holds you together while you fall apart. She Will spoon-feed you strip off your clothes, and help you shower she will comfort you and put her life on hold to jumpstart yours again. She, like a fire, will spread.

  So who is she? She is faithful, Brave, strong unwavering. She is driven. She will stand by you as a united front when you are faced with those who wish to hurt you. She will stand behind you to push you to be the best version of yourself. She will stand in front of you to Watson the pain and the blows that life is throwing that’s it.

  She will speak truth, love, and compassion she will act. She will follow through with her promises. She will show you a love that her God, her creator, has first shown her. She Will Show You true selflessness. She will die saving you. She will show up. Who is she? She is a fighter. She keeps going. Every day she works to get through the day when she is sick when she is tired, and when she is hurt, she will fight for better days. She is powerful. She will find a strength she didn’t know she had.

  Who is she?

  She has broken, hurt, bleeding, and is lonely. She finds it hard to love her reflection and struggles to show up for herself. She is not as forgiving to herself as she is to others. She is her  Own Worst Enemy. She is full of self-doubt, worry, anxiety, and fear. But she is a worker. She is pulling long days and years of constant work. Trying to be better for not only those she encounters but for herself. She is learning. Because she is so many more things. She is not a fucking quitter. And even like a fire, she will burn in the pouring rain!
